Step 2.

Click on the DOWNLOAD NOW button.

Step 3.

A window will open asking what you want to do with a file called SkypeSetup.exe. Click 'Run'.

You might see a confirmation message, asking if you're sure you want to run this software. Click 'Run' again.

Step 4. Follow the Setup Wizard

When the download has finished, the Skype Setup Wizard will appear and guide you through the rest of the installation.

Set up a Skype account using your First Name and Last Name e.g. john.smith. If this account name is already taken Skype will offer you alternative names to use.

You will also need to set a password for the account. We usually use Fusion as this as it is easy to remember - but you can use whatever you like.

Step 5. Test your new account.

Once your account is set up you can test it using the Skype Test Call facility. To do this you will need your Microphone plugged in and installed. Click here to find out how to do this.

Step 6. Add Fusion Trainers to your contact list.

Then click the Add Contact button to add our trainers to your contact list.

A search box will appear.

Here type dannyrtaylor and press Search. Skype should find him - based in Coventry. Select him off the list and press Add Selected Contact.

Search again for our other trainer - Hilary Caple - again based in Coventry and add her to your contact list.

They will get a message appear on their computers and they will accept you into their list as well.

Step 7. Congratulations.

You are now ready to start using Skype and start training.
